My mother was 42 years old the year I was born. It was a challenging day for us both.
I've lived in several states.
Born in New Jersey, we migrated to Pennsylvania around my 4th year. I stayed there until moving to New York City. Briefly I lived near Woodstock, NY, and then Boulder, CO before moving to San Francisco in 2011.
Birthdays are fun.
This birthday is something I've looked forward to since my 33 1/3rd birthday party in Manhattan. Vinyl is a real special thing to me. My brother and sisters played a lot of it when I was little.
This party will be lit
My last big party was 40.
This will be the last big party until the next one.
